OGUM and YEMANJA, Axanthic Yellow Anacondas, Eunectes Notaeus

I have kept this male and female axanthic yellow anaconda  for over 4 years.

They for sure are very precious. Not just for me, as dear friends, charges and teachers at once, but also as specimen. The colouring you see is a rare morph of a normally yellow anaconda (see pic. N1) and the top world breeder of anacondas Ben Renick has informed me

that he is aware of less than 10 of such adult individuals in the world.

What makes them even more special is their temperament - they are unusually placid for yellow anacondas and although their power and a nervous nature has to be respected, they share their love palpably when handled.

I have experimented with offering them various bedding substrates, you will see them here on the "garden bark", sphagnum moss, (news)paper.    In the end we favoured Aubiose (Hemp - the 'blond wood shavings') for its practical qualities and economic cost. I had fantasised of building the anacondas a trully spacious and luxurious suit and to hopefully breed them. My circumstances have nevertheless not allowed me the space or finances needed.

The truth of my relationship with these remarkable serpents is that this, in spite or perhaps because of all the pooh scrubbed out of their tank and all the adrenalin raised when learning to handle them, all the rats and rabbits thawed and offered and all the worries experienced when the female has not eaten for almost a year, this has been a powerful spiritual connection.

They came to me surrounded by many synchronicities and signs that these are my "Power Animal"

and 4 years later I can certainly testify that they, by the very fact of sharing their life and its necessities with me, have brought me into my power.

Right now, I am not sure if the fate will ask me to sell them onto a new keeper or continue being their primary guardian, as my journey to Peru is ahead of me.

))))  Whatever happens, I will always be devoted to them from the bottom of my soul ((((

This is the Yemanja and Ogum Tribute page

Thank you, my loves, for everything

Thoughts are brewing about writing a book "MY LIFE WITH AXANTHIC ANACONDAS"

STAY TUNED IN IF YOU THINK IT SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD READ :)

It would be a many layered experience and encompass the spiritual dimension of a relationship with powerfull companion animals

Equally I am considering setting up an online course of my own brand of

"ANIMAL COMMUNICATION &SPIRITUAL RELATING"

- simply a collection of lessons from my own unique and tried experience

a little project again to help funding my shamanic studies stay in the Amazon.

IF YOU FEEL DRAWN TO SUCH A SHARING PLEASE LET ME KNOW OF YOUR INTEREST

BLESSINGS AND GRATITUDE,

Hana
